Since the age of four, my family has called me "Grandma Chloe," and I guess it doesn't help much that I had picked up hobbies that are stereotypically related to older women. Around 2019 My dad suggested I make him a beanie with some yarn he found on clearance, I agreed and he bought me a loom knitting kit, in which I found myself enjoying. It came with a crochet hook so my interest had diverted more into that era, and then I started knitting after. Since then, I haven't' pictured my life pursuing anything different.
I started thrifting because It was so much more within my price range, and when I discovered how many clothes were just filling the planet, I decided to stick with it and learned to upcycle pieces that weren't in perfect condition. I would love to encourage others to consider doing the same. I believe we should not spend so much money supporting fast fashion, when it isn't always necessary! Please support small businesses and crafting <3
